This is what our second post might look like.

Welcome to this new experiment in interactive participation on issues of importance here at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church. As we begin this fall series of worship experiences, we are focusing on the meaning of membership. What are the foundational values we hold? What does commitment to this group mean in an age of non-commitment? How can we work together here on this country corner to build God’s kingdom? During the series from now through most of November, our sermons will focus on following Jesus, the importance and meaning of community, our mission, ways to experience belonging, identification and use of our spiritual gifts, and ways of being generous. But we want your input and feedback as well. What do you think about these topics? How have your life experiences molded your feelings about belonging in this family called church? We invite you to participate by posting your blog during any and every week of this series. We will be posting a weekly summary of sermon content and questions for thought and discussion for you to respond to.
But for today as we anticipate this series that begins on September 13, we invite you to simply note what it means to you to belong to Yellow Creek Mennonite.
