Texts: Matthew 5:1 – 7:29
Beyond the Law: Living the Sermon on the Mount by Philip K. Clemens
Contentment – The Power of Enough – Harold Yoder
(Room 34)
We will be using two texts, The Power of Enough by Lyn Miller, and Creating a Budget by Everence to explore our motivations for how we spend our money, and to create specific family budgets that will reflect our goals and motivations for using the resources that God has given us. This class would be most useful for young families as they create habits for a lifetime of stewardship of all God will give them.
Women’s Book Club – Phyllis Cripe and Marfa Maust
(Room 32)
If you love to read & enjoy group discussion, then this is the class for you. We will be starting with an Elm Creek Quilts novel by Jennifer Chiaverini called The Winding Ways Quilt. It will be divided into the first four weeks. It follows eight different women and how choices they have made have affected their lives – a great read! Other book titles will follow.
